"The Kids Guide to New York City" has been published and, coming next Spring, "The Kids Guide to Washington, D.C." All of Eileen's Taking the Kids are now available for the NOOK and Kindle. A full lineup of family-friendly festivals in Grapevine TX this year


The Dallas-area town of Grapevine, the number one festivals and events destination in Texas has a 2013 schedule featuring a full lineup of family-friendly festivals and exciting events. Enjoy year-round wine, chocolate, history and a vintage railroad at the World Festival & Events City, as dubbed by the International Festival & Events Association. Just to highlight a few- The Grapevine Farmers Market from March 21 – October 19 and Grapevine Market from April 11 – October 19 allows guests to shop ‘til they drop for an eclectic array of items including handmade jewelry, distinctive home décor, quality antiques and a locally grown produce. The 9th Annual ChocolateFest from April 5 – 6 is an annual fundraiser benefiing Travelers Aid D/FW, an organization committed to assisting individuals and families facing a travel related crisis with an evening of chocolate, wine, hors d’oeuvres and live music. America's National Parks, a pop-up book published shed by W. W. West, Inc, supports the National Parks Conservation Association. The goal for this masterpiece pop-up is to raise $100,000 for the NPCA.
