May 17, 2016
Registration is now open for Anniversary in the Schools, a program that brings Museum staff and volunteers to your classroom, in person or via webinar, on September 12 and 13, 2016 to help commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11. Staff will deliver a 40-minute, age-appropriate lesson that discusses what happened on 9/11 and the importance of remembering the attacks through personal objects and stories. This program is available for students in grades 3-12. Elementary educators (grades 3-5) can click here to register and learn more about the program. Middle and High school educators (grades 6-12) can register here. Space in the program is limited. Confirmations will be sent out in late May. For questions, please contact the Education Department at firstname.lastname@example.org.
