Baltimore Festivities Still Available Through New Year’s

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Baltimore, and there is plenty to check out before the season ends. Modeled after the famous Christkindl Market in Nuremberg, Germany, the Christmas Village in West Shore Park combines European culture with Baltimore charm with events up until December 24th. The Miracle on 34th Street gives one block in Hampden puts on a Christmas light display that is surely visible from space, and neighbors in this block of row houses string Christmas lights across 34th Street. The lights will be on display up until January 1st, but more special events will be posted as we near Christmas Eve. Take a ride on the Holly Jolly Trolley Tour for a two-hour tour starting at Royal Sonesta Harbor Court in downtown Baltimore, through neighboring areas filled with the charming sights and sounds of Christmas, past 34th Street and past the George Washington Monument in Mount Vernon. The Trolley runs Thursday – Saturday now through January 1st. Tickets are $30 for adults and $16 for children.
