Commemorate Battle of Bunker Hill in Boston this Friday


This year the National Park Service turns 100 and the National Parks of Boston want people to celebrate the moment and have fun in their national parks. On Friday, June 17 the National Parks of Boston and the Bunker Hill Monument Association will commemorate the 241st anniversary of the Battle of Bunker Hill with commemorative exercise and an oration by General Superintendent Michael Creasey at the Bunker Hill Monument, and an unveiling of the historic Adams Cannon at the Bunker Hill Lodge. All events are free and open to the public. In case of inclement weather, activities may move to the Bunker Hill Museum.
