"The Kids Guide to New York City" has been published and, coming next Spring, "The Kids Guide to Washington, D.C." All of Eileen's Taking the Kids are now available for the NOOK and Kindle. Your kids will love the fun facts, games and puzzles!

Families like to visit Philly for history and much more


Philadelphia is full of rich activities that will entertain the entire family, no matter what their interests may be. For history fans, experience of the birth of the United States at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and the National Constitution Center. For outdoor enthusiasts bicycle, play Frisbee or take out lunch and have a picnic in Fairmount Park. For those with a curiosity for science, walk through a giant heart, learn about the stars and experience all the educational and interesting exhibits at the Franklink Institute Science Museum. For your little sports fans, root for the Phillipes at Citizen Bank Park or take your ocean-lovers to explore the African River and other exhibits at the Adventure Aquarium. And don’t forget for your sweet little ones, Sesame Place is located in Philadelphia and is a family favorite.
