Texan Culture Found in Abilene

Abilene, Texas is making a case for your next Texan adventure. Frontier Texas! museum shows you how to feel the terror of a wolf attack, the chaos of a buffalo stampede and the tension of a deadly card game shootout. The Grace Museum encourages hands-on interaction, featuring a life-size Operation game, a faux Texas tornado, an ambulance with flashing lights, a replica of Abilene’s historic Paramount Theatre where kids can act on stage with costumes and props, and a tree house. Like any great vacation spot, the Abilene Zoo’s new Giraffe Safari let’s you get up close and feed the loveable giraffes. While serving these snacks, keep a look out for tortoises, monkeys, hogs, antelopes and storks, who are also part of the habitat.
