The Dog Film Festival on June 5th in Los Angeles will celebrate the bond between dogs and the people who love them. Preceded by an outdoor Afternoon Tea Pooch Party on June 4th, the two events will raise funds to benefit the homeless animals at Lange Foundation Animal Rescue. The Lange Foundation, its staff members and volunteers, has been committed to rescuing and rehabilitating shelter animals and preparing them for placement into permanent and loving homes. The first Dog Film Festival grew out of Tracie Hotchner’s desire to expand her Radio Pet Lady Network’s outreach to educate the public about adoption, pet wellness issues and philosophical aspects of pets in our lives. 50% of all ticket sales will support the Lange Foundation and Downtown Dog Rescue. The Dog Film Festival will take place at 2 PM and $ PM on Sunday, June 5th at the Crest Theater. Tickets are $20 per screening and dogs are allowed! The Pooch Party will take place from 3 PM to 5 PM on Saturday, June 4th at VCA West Los Angeles Hospital Tickets are $150. More information and tickets can be purchased online here.
