The Surfing Capital of the East Coast: ‘Surf’s Up, Santa!’

Santa Claus is traditionally known for going on his sleigh with his reindeer to deliver gifts to the good children. However, Santa also knows how to hang ten. Surfing Santas is an event where more than 300 santas show up to catch a few waves and entertain the 4,000 spectators who come to kick off the Christmas holiday on the coast. Funds raised from Surfing Santas go to local charities and have already raised $20,000 this year. This annual event will be on Christmas Eve at Cocoa Beach, Florida–the Surfing Capital of the East Coast. More information is available on their website.
