Visit Texas Hill Country River Region for a Variety of Activities

The Texas Hill Country River Region is a place of simple pleasures for outdoor adventures of all sorts. There are miles of hiking trails, a lazy river to float across and even tours about 10 million bats that fly through the night. This is a great place to be to unplug from the world. Float around the Frio River, with beautiful year-round weather, but beware the ghost of The White Lady of Rio Frio. Fort Inge’s Haunted Historical Hayride (Oct. 23) immerses you into the 1800s with one of the scariest legends around.
