Nestled on the Missouri River, KC Riverfest is the region’s largest Independence Day festival. Patriotism and Midwestern hospitality take over Berkeley Riverfront Park, with festivities including live performances, boardwalk games, local food vendors and top-notch fireworks. Only 7 years old, the festival has quickly become KC’s most popular July 4 event.

The small town of Cody, Wyoming does July 4 in a big way; so big, in fact, it takes five days to pack in all of the events. The 93rd annual Cody
stampede kicks off Saturday, June 30 with one of the four Cody Stampede Rodeos. Other events during the celebration include parades, a street dance, barbecues and the Wild West Extravaganza in City Park. The annual
