We have a winner of the Universal Orlando contest

Congratulations to Mary Cummings and her family, winner of our Dream Family Vacation at Universal Orlando Resort contest – a joint promotion of Taking the Kids and our partners at TravelimgMom and Family Travel Forum and the Universal Orlando Resort. Mary has won a 4-day stay for a family of four to Universal Orlando Resort and her family will be staying at an on-site Loews Universal Orlando Resort Hotel.

Mary is from Columbia, SC and she entered this giveaway because she thought this would be a “fun-filled totally awesome vacation” that would be a wonderful getaway experience with her family. She enjoyed the ‘Question of the Day’ format to enter the contest, saying that it, “went orderly and helped all who entered to learn as we entered.”  She commented that she’s relishing the idea of experiencing everything that Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme parks have to offer her family:

We want to take the littliest member of our group to visit Seuss Landing and Toon Lagoon at Universal’s Islands of Adventure and also to visit Fievel’s Playland at Universal Studios Florida.  I believe he will have loads of fun in those areas of the theme parks.  For my son and his girlfriend who are rocking their twenties right now, the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios will be on their agenda.  I believe we all will enjoy the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.  The 4K digital high definition animation should be breathtaking! We are all excited about staying at one of the on-site Loew’s Universal Orlando Resort Hotels and enjoying the amenities! They all look fabulous! Will love trying out the restaurants there, too!

Mary’s family is hoping to take the trip in the spring of 2013. We hope they have an amazing time and can’t wait to hear all about it!
