The Aspen Center for Environmental Studies in Colorado has a mission to build a more ecologically literate citizenry. This year they are celebrating their 50th anniversary by expanding the center’s vision.

A couple of things they have in store for the community are:

  1. Hallam Lake

In honor of ACES’ anniversary, Hallam Lake will be open on Saturdays during the winter season from 9a.m. – 5 p.m.

  1. Naturalist Night at Snowmass: Interactive Tour of Snowmass Ski Area Forests

ACES Forest programs Director, Adam McCurdy, will use maps and imagery to “fly-over” forests in the area. This special presentation is free and will start at 6p.m. on January 15, 2019.
