The Palladium Hotel Group celebrated the opening of its two new resorts, TRS Coral Hotel and Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa, located in Costa Mujeres, Mexico. I enjoyed a stay in a spacious suite at the TRS Coral Hotel and the all-inclusive experience from February 15-19, 2019.
I arrived in the evening on the 15th and the check in process went smoothly. The front desk agent offered me a glass of champagne, processed my paperwork, gave me my all-inclusive bracelet and answered all of my questions.
He introduced me to a bellman that placed my luggage on a golf cart and drove me to my room. I was quite impressed with the large and luxurious suite that included a hot tub and balcony.
I had breakfast with other members of the press in the morning on my first day. We ate at Capricho, an a la carte restaurant near the lobby. It has a wide variety of dishes at the buffet and menu items. After a hearty meal, we met the tour coordinator in the lobby and went on a hotel site inspection with hotel management.
Both hotels are all-inclusive and provide an unmatched luxury vacation. Here are more details:
- TRS Coral Hotel

- 4 pools ( 1 for children)
- Family Selection
- Children’s clubs
- Convention center
- Pop Entertainment team

I appreciated having a wide variety of dining options during my stay. Helios beach club was one of my favorite restaurants because of its spectacular views of the water and the fresh seafood. The décor is similar to that of a legendary Ibizan Beach Club with music playing in the background.
The room service food is also a good option if you want to stay in your room and relax. The delivery is prompt and the staff is polite and professional.
A couple of highlights of my trip were a night at a cabaret and a visit to the Rafael Nadal Tennis Centre. Here are more details:
- Chic Cabaret & Restaurant
A group of us went to the dinner and show at Chic Cabaret & Restaurant on the second night of the tour. They served several courses of food and beverages. The venue is a cozy and dimly lit theater and the show is a dazzling display of costumes and dancing along with singing of lively songs.
- Rafael Nadal Tennis Centre Ribbon Cutting and Tennis Clinic
The press group took a tour of the new center on day 4. This sensational facility offers a wide range of tennis programs for adults and children. After a press conference with Rafael Nadal, there was a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a tennis clinic. I participated in the clinic with some of the best coaching staff in the world. It was a good workout and a lot of fun. Later on, we practiced hitting with Rafael Nadal and snapped photographs with him.
My trip to TRS Coral Hotel was entertaining and relaxing. It is an ideal vacation destination with warm climate as well as plenty of activities and dining options. In addition, the large suites are deluxe and the guest services are excellent.
