The summer season has begun at the South Street Seaport Museum. It is in the heart of the historic seaport district in New York City.
Congress designated the Museum as America’s National Maritime Museum in 1998. This year there are three new initiatives including:
- The Printed Port at the Museum’s printing office
- Public sails on the W.O. Decker and Pioneer ships
- Access to the hull of Wavertree for tours
Admission for children under 8 is now free. More information is here.
