VisitScotland recently unveiled a new space themed map on the 50th anniversary of mission to moon. On July 16, 1969 Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins set off to land on the surface of the Moon and the ancestral homeland of Neil Armstrong happens Scottish to be Scotland.
To mark the occasion and celebrate Scotland’s links to the Moon landing, VisitScotland has launched a Scotland is Out of this World trail. It features connections to each planet in the solar system as well as fun science facts.
