The Plaza de los Ponchos is a large artisan market nestled in the Andean highlands in northern Ecuador. Traditionally clad indigenous townspeople sell their wares there every Saturday from 7:00am-6:00pm.

The various products are local, regional, national and international. They include jewelry, leather goods, ceramics, tapestries as well as colorful ponchos, hats, and scarves.
