Mount Nebo in Jordan is an important religious pilgrimage site. It offers visitors spectacular views of the Promised Land and the area is a much-admired destination for people of all faiths.
The Monastery is historic because it is where Moses walked two thousand years ago. In addition, the renowned Brazen Serpent Monument, archaeological remains of the 4th century, and the Byzantine Basilica (Church of Moses) are there.
