Thor’s Well is a natural attraction in Oregon where a circular hole in the coastal rocks drains and spouts ocean water. It appears bottomless and presents a good opportunity for photographers.

Located in the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, Thor’s Well is about a three-hour drive from Portland. The best time to visit is an hour before the high tide to view the wave-and-rock phenomenon.

This wonder of nature is part of the Pacific Ocean near the Spouting Horn geyser and Cape Perpetua Visitor Center. More information is here
