The Naugatuck River Greenway in the Connecticut valley consists of open and green spaces along the Naugatuck River. A non-motorized multi-use trail being developed there will follow the river for 44 miles.
The NRG provides a scenic corridor that is accessible to users of all abilities. The other towns it runs through are Derby, Ansonia, Beason Falls, Seymour, and Watertown. In addition, construction of a Waterbury section has begun.
Take the kids to walk and bicycle ride while maintaining social distance along the trail. More information is here.
