Most KOA campgrounds remain open, serving as “essential businesses” in many communities to provide safe places to stay for the thousands of full-time RVers in the U.S. and Canada.
The COVID-19 outbreak caught also many traditional “snowbird” RVers in transit to their summer homes, and KOAs are providing shelter for these travelers, where allowed.
Many KOAs are also proud to be providing safe, secure sites for traveling doctors, nurses and other medical personnel and essential workers as they deliver care in our communities. Yet a few KOA campgrounds have been closed due to local, state, or provincial mandates or other restrictions. KOA is maintaining a current list of closed KOA campgrounds on KOA.com. That list can be accessed HERE
