Mexican government officials have decided to launch a home-learning program to broadcast on major television networks in the next academic year. It is a measure designed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
About 94 percent of Mexican households have a television. Areas without access to television or Internet will be able to take classes over the radio.
The government’s goal is to restart in-person learning once the traffic-light system used to gauge how widespread the Virus is falls to the lowest level. More details about the program are here.
