Saville Dam is an 80-year-old architectural wonder made of stone turrets. It is located at Barkhamsted Reservoir in Connecticut.

This Dam, named after the project’s chief engineer Caleb Saville, is a half-mile long and 135 feet high. The hillside area overlooks scenic Lake McDonough and  is an exemplary place to go on a picnic.

Take a road trip to Saville Dam this fall. More information is here.
