As the summer approaches consider a trip to see Creating Camelot: The Kennedy Photography of Jacques Lowe exhibit in Hyannis, MA. It will open at the JFK Hyannis Museum on May 21, 2018 and run until December 2018. The exhibition provides a unique insight into how the Camelot imagery and legend came to be and it’s intimate connection to Cape Cod. Some of the features include behind-the-scenes images of John F. Kennedy his wife Jacqueline, and their children. Lowe’s original negatives were destroyed on September 11th, 2001, during the World Trade Center terror attacks, but thousands of his contact sheets and prints from the Kennedy file escaped destruction, stored safely at another facility in New York City.
