Asian Art Museum in San Francisco Asks Life’s Biggest Questions in ‘Divine Bodies’

Begin to ask difficult questions like “Where do we come from?” as the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco presents Divine Bodies. The new exhibition opening March 9, 2018 brings together nearly 70 large-scale historical sculptures and paintings from Hindu and Buddhist traditions, along with contemporary photo-based work. Qamar Adamjee, a museum associate curator, says the exhibition welcomes masterpieces from 1500 years ago to today, coming from India, Pakistan and the wider buddhist world. The exhibition will close on July 29, 2018. To learn more about the upcoming exhibition, click here. To plan your visit to the Asian Art Museum, click here.
