BLACK HISTORY MONTH AT THE SHEEN CENTER NYC

The Sheen Center for Thought & Culture in New York City celebrates Black History Month with three special events featuring some of the preeminent writers, artists and activists of our time.

The Black History Month programming shows African American’s struggle for freedom. Here are more details:

  1. Mississippi Burning 30th Anniversary

A film screening and panel discussion will take place on February 4 at 4:30 p.m. and talkback at 7 p.m.

  1. Haunted Files

This immersive theater experience and panel discussion will take place on February 20 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

  1. Forgiveness Makes You Free

This film screening and panel discussion will take place on February 22 at 7:30 p.m.
