The National Museum of the American Indian, part of the Smithsonian in Washington, DC, will celebrate Cherokee history during the sixth annual Cherokee Days Festival from April 12-14 2019. It will feature the three federally recognized Cherokee tribes.
This free three days of festivities will include the installation of the original Treaty of New Echota with the Cherokee Nations, banner exhibitions, and cultural performances.
