One of Santa Fe, New Mexico’s most beloved holiday traditions is the Canyon Road Farolito Walk. This event lights up the hearts and souls of thousands of people on Christmas Eve.
Farolitos are small lights made out of paper bags, sand, and tea candles. The highlights will include bonfires and musicians playing traditional songs. In addition, they will serve hot chocolate and cookies called biscochitos.
The city of Santa Fe expects 30,000 participants at this year’s Farolito Walk. More information is here.
