COLORADO CELEBRATES 142 YEARS

In honor of Colorado’s 142nd birthday, the History Colorado Center in Denver and its associated museums throughout the state will be free to the public on August 1.

To kick off the festivities, the Center is inviting museum visitors to partake of birthday cake with Governor John Hickenlooper and Lieutenant Governor Donna Lynn at 10:15a.m.

Throughout the event, you will be able to celebrate with live bluegrass music, Colorado-themed crafts, gold panning, cooking demonstrations, vintage dance performances and a variety of other activities. More information is here.
