INDIGENOUS PEOPLE’S SUNRISE CEREMONIES IN SF

Alcatraz Cruises and the National Park Service host two annual Indigenous People’s Sunrise Ceremonies in San Francisco, California. This year’s gatherings will take place on Monday, October 8 and Thursday, November 22, and all departures will be from Pier 33.

The convocations commemorate “Indians of All Tribes” and their survival following the settlement of Europeans in the Western Hemisphere. They are one-day events.

Please note this is not the standard Alcatraz Day tour. More information about the boat departures and tickets is here.
