The National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC is celebrating its 50th anniversary and recently announced the opening of OneYear: 1968 An American Odyssey, an exhibition that highlights prominent history makers of 1968. This one-room exhibition of 30 objects includes photographs, paintings, prints, drawings and magazines. And it will present a time capsule of a diverse group of figures whose legacies continue to influence the nation in ineradicable ways. Take the kids to see it from June 29 through May 19, 2019.
