The Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC recently announced the opening of “Eye to I: Self-Portraits from 1900 to Today”. The exhibition will examine how artists in the United States have chosen to portray themselves since the beginning of the last century.
It will feature more than 75 works of art in a variety of styles and media and concludes the Portrait Gallery’s 50th anniversary exhibition program.
“Eye to I” will be on view Nov. 2 through Aug. 18, 2019. More information is here.
