The San Diego Museum of Art is excited to present Modern Masters from Latin America: The Pérez Simón Collection – an exhibition showcasing 102 works of art by some of the greatest modern masters from countries including Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, and more! The exhibit is centered around three major themes and will be on view at the San Diego Museum of Art through March 11, 2018. This collection will feature more than 75 artists, each celebrated for their own unique techniques and regional influences on modernism including Frida Kahlo, Rufino Tamayo, Fernando Botero as well as Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, and José Clemente Orozco– the three pioneers of the Mexican muralism movement. In addition, the San Diego Museum of Art also has “Frida and Me” open, an exhibition for children geared towards inventiveness and the power of Frida Kahlo’s work.  To plan your trip to The San Diego Museum of Art, click here.
