One of the latest exhibitions at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture is Represent: Hip-Hop Photography. It is on the second floor in the media arts gallery and is on view until May 3, 2019. This exhibition was inspired by the four elements of hip-hop – DJs, MCs, break-dancers and graffiti. Take your family to see photographs from the Eyejammie Hip Hop Photography Collection that illustrate the early days of the genre and its rapid worldwide expansion in the mid-to- late 90s.
