The Jewish Museum in New York Welcomes Season of Family Programs

The Jewish Museum in New York City welcomes all families for an array of programs kicking off this early 2018. A performance series features Grammy-nominated band The Pop Ups on February 25th, The Paper Bag Players on March 11th and Hopalong Andrew Band on April 22nd. On January 30th and February 20th, preschoolers and parents can explore Scenes from the Collection, the Museum’s new collection exhibition, through themed tours and engaging gallery activities, followed by a visit to the Museum’s art studio. Studio Art Sessions also welcome families to paint, draw, sculpt or craft a work with a new theme every Sunday now through May 13th. On February 18-20 and 22-23, kids can design colorful tapestries inspired by clothing in the Museum’s exhibition Veiled Meanings: Fashioning Jewish Dress, from the Collection of the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
