The Unseen Oceans exhibition opened at the American Museum of Natural History on March 12 and will run through January 6, 2019. It will consist of circular and media-rich galleries that will showcase a broad range of ecosystems and introduce a new generation of scientists. Some of the highlights include:
- A 180-degree, high resolution screen
- Microscope stations
- A suspended display of biofluorescent species
- A magnetic sand table with a dynamic live projection where young guests can learn about ocean topography
Unseen Oceans will put a spotlight on urgent threats to the oceans including climate change and habitat degradation. More information here.
