Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival March 31- April 30 Portland, OR. For the 27th year, the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm bursts into bloom in a fantastic show of nature. Every year the farms’ tulip varieties are arranged differently in a new pattern of color over 40 acres, with sparkling Mt. Hood as a backdrop. During the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities along with the beautiful fields of tulips and daffodils. Some of these activities are pony rides, wooden shoe making, craft workshops, children’s activities and much more.
The Tenth Season of Native Trails Scottsdale, AZ. Thursdays and Saturdays through April 14 This series of free noontime festivals takes place at Scottsdale Civic Center Park on most Thursdays and Saturdays through April 14 and explores Native American culture through the art of song and dance. Balloon’s Over Paradise Festival April 13-15. Paradise Coast, FL. The Balloon’s Over Paradise Festival will take place at Airport Park, with 10 balloons launching at sunrise on Saturday and Sunday. The balloon launch is part of the Immokalee Harvest Festival, which begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday with live music and food. Saturday events include a parade on 9th Street at 11:30 a.m., games, music, craft vendors, and much more

Kids enjoy Food Fight which pairs celebrity chefs and island chefs in a fun competition that has them diving into the ocean, cracking conch and cooking on the beach; A Taste of St. Croix – where local restaurants, farms and vendors share nibbles from their menu; Sunset BBQ which is held at a historic fort; and Kids Cooking, where local and celebrity chefs teach kids ages 5 to 12 how to prepare a simple and healthy recipe.
