WHAMMOCK AT THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM SD

The New Children’s Museum in San Diego, California recently announced its latest art commission Whammock! It is by textile artist Toshiko Horiuchi MacAdam.

This work is a visually stimulating array of bright, hand-dyed nylon rope crocheted into a large three-dimensional sculpture that resembles a hammock. It is an interactive environment ideal for kids.

Whammock will open to the public on June 15, 2019. More information is here.
